Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads are teaming up for the ultimate "Slightly Dirty Summer Tour" in 2024!!! The collab from these two will make sure they're spreading their tunes far and wide across the nation. They've got a whopping 23 dates lined up from July through August, so you know it's gonna be epic.
Common Kings will be joining them to hype up the crowd on select dates, while The Elovaters will be bringing the heat to every single show.
The "Slightly Dirty Summer Tour" is scheduled to begin at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland on July 11. From there, the bands will play in places including Mountain View, West Valley City, Virginia Beach, Charleston, Jacksonville, and West Valley City until closing night at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix on August 25.
Founded in 1994 by Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty, Slightly Stoopid is a musical fraternity rather than merely a band. These Southern Californian childhood buddies set out to fuse folk, punk, metal, rock, blues, and reggae into a genre-defying synthesis. Well-known events including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and New Orleans Jazz Fest have been dominated by Slightly Stoopid. They achieved platinum and gold records with hits including "Collie Man," "2am," and "Closer To The Sun" after establishing Stoopid Records.
These rock stars have a lot of experience performing live; their "Summertime 2023" tour was a big hit. The addition of Common Kings (available only in Holmdel) and The Elovaters to the festivities is guaranteed to raise the bar for the "Slightly Dirty Summer Tour."
Slightly Stoopid’s Miles Doughty expresses his excitement, saying “Slightly Dirty Summer 2024 is gonna be nuts! It’s been a minute since we did a full summer tour with our brothers the Dirty Heads and we are excited to get this party started”. Duddy B. of Dirty Heads chats about being back on the road. “Every time we get together, it’s nothing but good times, and I expect nothing less this summer!”
