Ignited by the band's most explosive appearance on their 50th anniversary tour, The Doobie Brothers reunion concert in 2021 paved the way for the band to return to the concert music scene. The "Long Train Runnin'" hitmakers are embarking on a concert tour that will take them to 38 cities in the US — many of which the band has not played in several years.
The tour will kick off in Seattle at the White River Amphitheatre on June 15, 2024. Summer will be busy for the band as they will be stopping in major cities, including Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and New York City. The band will stop at the Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, on August 4. They will be joined by another legendary English musician and songwriter, Steve Winwood.
Known for his exemplary blend of blues rock, RnB, pop, and blue-eyed soul, Winwood is a former member of the band Traffic, which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Ranked by Rolling Stone as 33rd on its "100 Greatest Singers of All Time," Winwood is responsible for several hits like "While You See A Chance," "Higher Love," "Valerie," and "Gimme Some Lovin'," among many others. Thus, his guesting at The Doobie Brothers concert is something to be looked forward to.
